What should I do when I arrive for my appointment?

CCP's street address is 1030 N. Olive Road, Tucson, AZ 85721. If you are driving to CCP on the day of your appointment, there is a public parking garage at the north-east corner of Park and Speedway that many of our researchers use. The garage is approximately one block away from CCP via pedestrian underpass at the east end of the garage.
You do not need to check in on the first floor. When you arrive, please stow your belongings in a locker. Lockers are free to use, and located across from the main desk on the first floor. Items you may bring into the Study Center:
- Please bring your ID with you for your first visit
- Laptops
- Cell phone
- Chargers
- Cameras
- Paper
- Pencils
Please leave bags, jackets, and any additional items in a locker. Please note that staff will check inside laptops and flip through notebooks when you leave for the day.
Next, head directly to the second floor via the stairs or elevator - there is no need to wait for someone on the first floor to contact an archives staff member; just come right up to the Study Center! From the stairs, proceed to the balcony and then turn left at the balcony; from the elevator, take a right as you exit. The Volkerding Study Center is temporarily located in room 206. A member of our staff will be in this room with your requested materials. We will check your ID and then help you get started with your research.
Finally, members of our staff are immunocompromised and continuing to wear masks for our own health reasons; we would appreciate your support by also wearing a mask when you visit the Study Center.
